SREE VANI AUM 

Aum consists of three sounds: a. u. m.   These sounds are the basic sounds.  Alle the language sounds and words are created out of them: electron, proton, neutron:  shiva, brama, vishnu:  father, son and holy ghost.  The first sound of aum which is A, stands for universe.  The second U stands for radiance light and life.  The third, M stands for intelligence, awareness and consciousness.  It is and expression of PARABRAMAN (Supreme Cosmic Intelligence)  Aum is a symbol of sound, which is the substance of silence.  The sound of aum is unique, holistic.  It is not born of any friction.  All other sounds are the results of a friction between the lips, teeth and tongue. 

The sound of aum is the vessel, the vehicle in which the light of life is contained.  Vital breath (vayu) contains sound energy.  Motion and sound arre two principles of vital breath (vayu).  The essence of speech is aum or omkara (sound) Aum is born with the fusion of speech and breath (vak and prana).  Realty living and permeating the cosmos is called cosmic sound (nada brama).  Aum is the sound without friction.Earth is the cause of creation.  Music and poetry are the essence of creation.  Speech comes from the vital breath.  Those who have entered the heart have a continuous chanting inside their being, which is the sound of aum.  It is arising out of our inner most core, the sound of our inner silence.  Aum is the soundless sound of silence (saman).  The first manifestation of the formless to the form (matter) is sound “Aum” is the very stretcher of existence when you are totally silent.  When the ego has ceased the you hear the sound of aum.  It is a soundless sound.  Just a humming sound of existence.
